Thank you our big brother for such a lovely gift! We were extremely overjoyed when we received the parcel. I love everything in it the letters, the laksa paste, the bak kut teh, the instant porridge and our fav biscuit and mag and and even the styrofoam!!!

It’s not because i got my favourite mushroom biscuit, it’s not because i got my fav magazine CLEO and SHAPE, but is the warmth that is send all the way from singapore touches my heart. Thank you Zbj for making so much effort, going through so much trouble to send these to us. We really appreciate it, very much.

Sometimes, by making a little effort to let someone u treasure know that u still love them can mean a lot to them. And that’s why i am treasuring every sms, every call, every email and every tag from all my love ones. Love u all dearly.

My friday Night

The interns in Capitaland have a pact: We are going to have a good meal every friday to reward ourselves! So we started a list of restaurants that seems interesting.

Being in a foreign land for 2 months makes us hungry for our authentic singaporean food. So without any dicussion we all puts our 2 hand up for a Singapore food feast. Our tour guide Serene, an intern from Fu Dan Uni (she’s a singaporean) introduce to us a restaurant located at West Nan Jing Road (kinda like Singapore’s orchard) which she claims sells the best Singaporean food. So with much anticipation and curisoity (due to many disappointment) we arrive at the Rendezvous Restaurant.

OMG!!! The food here are whhooooooo!!!

Though the sweet sour pork is a disappointment as compare to Brander’s and Julie’s but! i gotta say that the curry fish head and black carrot cake is yum yum!

What a good meal to celebrate the end of the week! Delighted. =)

We were at Hangzhou

Over the weekends, we decided to give ourselves a break and embark our journey to Hangzhou. it’s around a 3hrs drive. Luckily we have Yi Ma and family together with us to show us around.

Hangzhou is not as nice as i thought it was. It’s a pity that we din manage to climb up the famous bridge at Xi Hu as there was a government conference held there.

Next up, we went to Lin Ying Si to give our prayers. Here’s us at the enterance of the temple:

We end our day with a cozy dinner at Bu Jian Bu Shan. Nice.

My Golden Week

Finally! my long awaited golden week is here. For my dearest, golden week is a week of holiday china use to celebrate their national day. How lucky are the tongs rite?

Treasuring every moment we have, together with a few mates, evern and i went to Su Zhou for a short trip. It was fun!

My fav transportation: Hei Che – An illegal van. Because we are always traveling in a big grp so it’s most cost saving to hop on to those illegal vans parking around. i would say that once u tried it, u will nv stop. it’s so so so convenient, cheap and the drivers are friendly. Esp our fav $10 man!

My fav foodie: This goes to the Egg Tart at ZW’s eye candy HK cafe’s. It is really awesome! it’s evenly bake and was steaming hot when served. When u give it a soft bite, the crisp landed nicely into ur mouth with a bit of sweetness and saltiness. oooooo! I can eat 10!!!

My fav signboard: I’m sure many have heard tt china uses direct translation from chi to eng. Here’s some examples of it:

My fav places of attraction: Where else can it be beside our “Tang BEAA hu diao qiu xiang”?! Inside, there are a total of 28 spots show casing the rich history and culture of China. I especially like the boat ride with the lady singing “Mo li hua”. Beautiful scenary with beautiful voice. Perfect! We also learn from her that this song is selected as China national theme song for the Olympic. So peeps, start learning and be a true Asian!

My fav night activity: For those who are in touch with news will know that Singapore invest in a industry park here in Suzhou called SIP(Suzhou/Singapore Industry Park). On our last night there, we went over to SIP and was amaze by the magnificant fireworks and musical fountain. I had a great night. Though i wish someone is there with me. Hee!
